To help reduce Ghana’s housing deficit, Seamless International, a Chinese Technology Group will soon commence its ‘Smart-Community’ housing project which covers over 500acres land located at Ningo-Prampram in Accra.

 

The project which forms part of the group’s ‘Smart-life’ initiative when completed in 2019 will accommodate more than 15,000 Ghanaians in prefabricated homes.

 

Briefing the media on the project at the plush Mensvic Hotel in Accra, the Country Director of Seamless International, Mr. Bright Agah who led a delegation from China said the team has so far concluded meetings with country’s urban development authorities , city engineering council, as well as other key players in the real estate sector.

 

Mr. Agah underlined that Ghana as a developing country has varied economic potentials, adding that “the ‘Smart life’ Project is going to create employment in all industrial sectors in the country.” He said Ghana was selected to host the multi-million dollar project after a ballot which included countries like : Brazil and Thailand.

Qinqwei said that in the 21st Century, technology stands tall. According to him, China was able to gain grounds in technology after 30 years of accommodating science and technology from countries like Germany.

 

“Today, China is a world leading technology giant. The same way, Seamless is in Ghana to put “Smart Products” on the market. Someday, Ghana’s technology industry will blossom,” he predicted.

 

Mr Liug Qinqwei said Seamless is in Ghana to provide Ghanaians with smart things so that they can live simple lives. After their major “Smart Community” project at Prampram, Seamless International says it will build a 29- office storey unit within 10 days in central Accra.
